The hard work and effort has paid off. On Tuesday, March 5th, the Democratic voters of the 39th District chose Linda Sanchez to be their nominee. We are holding a victory party tomorrow night, which will be located at our campaign headquarters, which has been graciously supplied by USA Mobile Offices. Born in Southern California to immigrant parents, Linda Sanchez is a true public servant. While putting herself through UCLA Law School, Linda served as an aide to Justice Terry Hatter and worked for the National Organization for Women on a groundbreaking sexual harassment case. She has also practiced civil rights and employment law and worked on numerous local political campaigns.
In 1996 and 1998 Linda helped her sister, Congressmwoman Loretta Sanchez, defeat right-wing extremist Bob Dornan.
Linda now serves as Executive Secretary-Treasurer for the Orange County Central Labor Council and is active in a variety of charities.

As a California Labor leader, Linda Sanchez is at the forefront of the fight for quality jobs and fair wages. In these difficult economic times, she will make the issue of job security and affordable health care a top priority in Congress.
